Introducing.... Svenska Blue and Chicago Grey! Annie Sloan's New Chalk Paint™ Colours!

Here they are! Annie Sloan's brand new New Neutrals!

Chicago Grey is a cool, fresh and modern grey, with a hint of blue. Suggestive of the architecture in Chicago. A perfect neutral for industrial interiors, or muted Scandinavian styling.

Svenska Blue is a crisp and cool toned blue-grey, evocative of the colours seen throughout Swedish manor houses in the 17th and 18th Century.

Chicago Grey spotted in the wild! This Chalk Paint™ newbie can be identified by its cool tinge, making for a clean grey which is suggestive of the architecture in Chicago.
Often observed with Antoinette, Emperor’s Silk or Aubusson there’s very few Chalk Paint™ colours this new neutral doesn’t work with. In this shot Annie went for Antoinette Wall Paint and Ticking Graphite for a stylish, modern look.

Svenska Blue is a traditional Swedish neutral rather than a French inspired shade, and will balance richer, warmer colours such as Primer Red or Olive beautifully. In this image Annie contrasted it against the warmth of French Linen and her most playful fabric, Piano. Is this a Chalk Paint™ colour you’ll be including in future colour schemes in your home?
