Tired of the Upholstery? Paint It!

paint fabric benchYES, Chalk Paint™ adheres to fabric! It does not peel or chip, but it will crack like an old leather bomber jacket, giving it a perfectly aged patina. This is the perfect way to rejuvenate old upholstered furniture.

Here's how to do it:

Dip your brush into the paint and then dip that same brush into water before applying to fabric. Misting your fabric first with a bit of water helps too.) Just repeat until all the fabric is coated. The water helps the fabric absorb the paint evenly. You may need more than one coat. Once dry, waxing is your next option. If you choose to wax it, your fabric will feel like vinyl or leather and can be washable.

Try it...you will not believe your eyes!

I’ve just been to Annie Sloan’s Oxford store last week and blogged about it. It’s a lovely little store, not what I was expecting, but I’m so glad that you sell her paint near me because I always bring way too much back form the UK to bring the paint and wax. :)
